Deceased Estates
The South African law of succession prescribes the rules which determine the devolution of a person’s estate after his or her death and all matters incidental thereto. It identifies the beneficiaries who are entitled to benefit from the estate of the deceased. The administration of a deceased estate is very complex and requires someone with basic legal skills. Our attorneys act as both agents and executors in the administration of a deceased estate. We possess both the legal skills, business acumen, knowledge of taxation as well as the ability to collaborate with beneficiaries, pension funds, creditors, employees and business partners during the administration of a deceased estate.
